I’m a big believer in favorites.  Below are some random lists and links to some of my favorite things.  This is a work in progress. You can never have too many favorites.

Favorite Cereals

Life - A classic. Julie likes it.

Smurfberry Crunch (defunct) - I remember this as being wonderfully sweet and pretty.

Cookie Crisp - It's like eating cookies for breakfast!

Favorite Candies

Swedish Fish - The best gummy candy around. My only question is: why are they made in Canada?

Peanut M&Ms - Such a perfect blend of taste and texture.

Candy corn – Traditional Halloween flavored, as well the Valentine and Easter varieties.  If they made Fourth of July candy corn, I’d probably eat that, too.

Kinder Bueno – I ate one a day while in Italy.  Tasty chocolate and hazelnut melty and crispy combination.

Charleston Chew - Sometimes the chewiness hurts my teeth, but I love the odd texture.

Favorite Chips

Doritos – The regular kind, not Cool Ranch.  Cool Ranch give you the worst possible breath EVER (although not the reason I don’t like them as much as regular).

Favorite Foods

Cheese Pizza - Depending on my mood, I favor different styles of pizza.  Lou Malnati’s is my fave of the Chicago places, but I’ll pretty much eat any kind of thin crust.  Just cheese, please, although I will tolerate onions, green pepper, or spinach.

Broccoli Spinach Casserole – A Halpern Family classic.  I could eat bowls of it.  But I shouldn’t because it results in major gas.

Corn – Mmmmm.  I don’t eat enough corn.  I like it on the cob, creamed, loose (Is that what you’d call it?  You know, just out of the can).

Favorite TV Shows

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - I love Buffy Summers with all of my heart.  She is the bravest, most beautiful, most resourceful vampire slayer ever.  Creepy?  I think not.

Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High - Read my essay (not like an essay for school, but something I wrote for the website) about my history with Degrassi.

Beverly Hills 90210 - I was the same age as the characters on 90210 until they had them repeat their junior year.  While not as classy and realistic as Degrassi, and while pretty inconsistent, I am still devoted.  Keep ‘em comin’ on DVD!
